Over night adventure camp brings the fun, thrill, excitement and simple Pleasureable experiences, outdoor camping in school campus. So in this view DPS Ambala hosted a Night Camp with a motive to inculcate the habit of self dependent and living among school children. This fun loaded camp was full of activites that were aimed at self management and direct learning, which would also break the monotony of the structured schedule of students.
Staying away from home, give the students a sense of independence but they also faced variety of challenges, shared responsibilities, work with other students and learn to manage themselves. This over night camp was packed with delicious healthy meals and every thing else that one can expect out of an ultimate camping experience in school premises.
Our over night camp along with thrilling adventure activities like wall climbing, Rappelling, Archery, Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Flying Fox, Bonfire and DJ and also had recreational activities and Yoga Sessions. The children went on a trip to Kurukshetra and visited Science Museum. The camp closed with the Bhangra performance by the students which mesmerized everyone present there. The Principal of the school Mr. D.K. Tyagi appreciated the efforts of the children and the staff members for the smooth functioning of the event. The parents of DPS Ambala appreciated the steps taken by the school authorities.
