MOTHERS DAY CARD MAKING COMPETITION (05 MAY 2017)
Mother’s love is always unconditional and pure. Mothers are the truest friend we have. In a child’s eyes, a mother is a goddess. She can be glorious or terrible, benevolent or filled with wrath, but she commands love either way. So to honour the love of all the mothers A Card Making Competition was held in school today for classes III & above. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. The students were well involved in the competition. All the students came up with their artistic skills. The competition was full of life, passion and spirit.
Bookmarking Competition( 24 Apr 2017)
A bookmark making and decoration Competition was organized for the children of classes I and II on 24th april 2017 .Children had brought the book mark cutouts from home, but decorating it with innovative material and writing the message was carried out in the class.The judgment was carried out on the following parameters- Effectiveness of design, creativity ,neatness , overall effect , conviction of the message.it was indeed not only learning but also a fun filled activity.
DRAWING COMPETITION 18.04.2017
Every child or person has ocean of inner strengths. The proportion of these strengths vary from person to person. But the only need is to develop these strengths and to develop this power, it is necessary that proper environment, guidance and encouragement should be provided as required. If a child gets all these in correct proportion then his hidden talents develop. With this intention a drawing competition was held in school today for the grade 3 to 5 under the theme of cleanliness. All the students participated with great enthusiasm. They showcased their creative skills in drawing and colouring and came up with amazing art work. The criteria for judgement were Neatness, Creativity, Colour Combination and overall effect and Accuracy in Sketching. The main aim of Competition is to recognize the hidden talents, to develop them more and to lead it towards the direction of success.
Baisakhi celebration(KG-II)
Kinder garten to class 2nd of Delhi Public School organised Baisakhi celebration. The students dressed in typical folk attire, Students of school danced to the tunes of Bhangra. The students were told about the importance of festival Baisakhi and performed different activities like poem recitation, singing a song and also spoke few lines on it.They were also told about various aspects of the rural Punjab and its cultural heritage.

Festivals bring joy and happiness. Baisakhi is an important harvest festivalof Punjab that has religious values as well. Keeping this in mind Delhi Public school Ambala celebrated the festival of Baisakhi today with enthusiasm. The programme began with the speech by the student. In his speech he threw light on the importance of Baisakhi. Bhangra, Giddha, dance and solo dance performances were staged on the occasion. The motive behind the celebrations was to apprise the children of their rich culture and heritage. They were also told about various aspects of the rural Punjab. Principal of the school Mr. D.K.Tyagi said Baisakhi was the beginning of the new Hindu year and it was a day of joy for all of us. He appreciated the performances of the students and encouraged the studentst and told them to enjoy and respect all festivals.
Self-Introduction Activity (CLASS I & II)
The activity was conducted in the school premises on April 10, 2017.It is the best opportunity for the child to introduce them. In this activity, the child showed their talent by giving their self-introduction. They participated with zeal and zest. The activity was conducted to motivate every child to know about their goals in life also it helped a lot to improve their speaking skills and boost up their confidence
SELF INTRODUCTION 2017-18 (CLASS III & ABOVE)
A self introduction activity was conducted in Delhi Public School Ambala on 6.04.17. Children participated whole heartedly and gave their best performances. Students took great care of appropriate speaking styles, correct pronunciation, due stress on words, voice modulation and many more. It was fantabulous listening to their views about them. Every student participated and spoke for 1-2 minutes duration.
The most notable point was confidence which was above board throughout in one and all. So it was worth watching and unmatched experience by all the teachers and all the commendable views are kept as record by the teachers.
