On Independence Day we planned a patriotic show. Our zealous and committed teachers guided and polished students for performing a dance depicting struggle and strive behind freedom. Students delivered speeches emphasizing the need of maintaining freedom by respecting others’ rights. They recalled us the sacrifices and pains of freedom fighters. The aura and atmosphere of patriotism was undoubtedly admirable. Students filled the encores of Jai Bharat and Jai Hind.

Celebration of Independence Day was a proud moment for every student of Delhi Public School Ambala to take pride in their Country’s honour and glory. Everyone in the Campus was geared up and enthused for the momentous occasion. A cultural programme was also presented on the occasion. A grand function was organized at the School to celebrate Independence Day, in which students were filled with zeal and enthusiasm to express the feeling of unity and secularism. On the occasion, National flag was unfurled by the Honourable Principal of the School Mr. D.K Tyagi. The students presented various cultural programmes like patriotic group songs, dances, speeches on the occasion. To keep alive the flame of patriotism and mark the celebration of 69th Independence Day, the premises was filled with national spirit and love for the country.

Children were dressed up in the get up of different freedom fighters and presented many patriotic songs, dances and poems. The Principal threw light on the importance of the Day. The celebrations started with a beautiful cultural programme prepared by the students. The main attractions of the programme were the colourful dances prepared by the students. The students also sang patriotic songs. The celebrations of the red letter day concluded with the national anthem.
