Delhi Public School Ambala celebrated Krishna Janmashtami, an annual commemoration of birth of the Hindu deity Krishna, the most powerful reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. Tiny tots dressed up beautifully as Lord Krishna and Radha. Their innocent looks with flutes, peacock feathers and matkis enlivened Krishna’s childhood.
The students showcased their talent by role play on the life of Lord Krishna. School hall was well decorated for the celebration.
The spirit of festivity was enhanced with fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of burning camphor. Aarti, bhajans were recited and songs related to Janmashtami were played. The Principal Ms. Amita Dhaka congratulated everyone on this occasion. She, in her address, threw light on Lord Krishna’s teachings. She said the holy occasion promotes brotherhood and establishes faith in God.
