Basant Panchami

Basant Panchmi was celebrated in Delhi Public School Ambala with great fervour and enthusiasm. .Basant Panchmi also marks the advent of the spring season . Basant Panchmi is celebrated to worship Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom who is believed to have descended to Earth on this day.Yellow colour – represent knowledge, is of importance on Basant Panchmi. People wear yellow clothes and make yellow colour dishes and Prasad.Different online activities were conducted for the students to mark the importance of the day.The tiny tots attired in vibrant hues of yellow to mark the importance of the day.The children participated in kite making and enjoyed kite flying . The spring of joy took over when a prayer ceremony worshipping Goddess Saraswati was led by offerings of spring flowers by senior students & staff of the school Principal of the school Ms.Amita Dhaka motivated the students to be progressive learners, setting big goals and putting dedicated efforts as a promising & flourishing human harvest.
