Dear Parents
As a pedagogical initiative, Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced Art Integrated Learning in its affiliated schools. In continuation of the above effort , DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL AMBALA as per the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education endeavours to promote Competency Based Education through Art Integrated Learning projects. These projects for classes I to XII are introduced with an aim to make learning experiential and joyful. Art Integrated projects are multidisciplinary and nature- integrating. They focus on promoting reflection, critical thinking, creative initiation, self- direction and other 21st century skills.

The main objective of art integrated education is to make the students aware of the vast and diverse cultural heritage of our country. Students have to take up with any form of Indian Art–visual or performing it to and integrate it with the paired State/UT,as defined under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Programme.Schools in the State of Haryana have been paired with Telangana.

Teachers/Mentors will be facilitating the learning of the chosen Indian art form and ensure that students are able to creatively integrate the allocated art form in the project. These projects will be considered for Internal Assessment in all the subjects. Uploading the details of Art Integrated projects on CBSE portals is mandatory for all the classes.

We request your wholehearted support in empowering children with competence to understand, analyse, evaluate, interpret and innovate various real life situations that they will face tomorrow in the world outside the classrooms.

The details of the project to be made are been given to the students. Kindly read and send a clear picture and pdf of same to the class teacher by Feb 10, 2021(Wednesday).Do name the picture and pdf sent by you as Class Section Wardname Rollno Subject. For eg file should be “III R ananya 11 Maths”. Any other file without this format name will not be accepted.
